Maitake (Grifola frondosa)is a Blood Sugar Regulator and improves insulin resistance by enhancing uptake of insulin into cell receptor sites. It may also restore sensitivity to dulled insulin receptor sites and normalize pancreatic secretion of insulin. Applications include Diabetes II, Metabolic Syndrome and insulin resistance. Maitake also reduces tumors, especially breast, prostate, and colorectal. This tincture is a double extract, first Ethanol Extraction, then Hot Water Extraction as taught by Host Defense Team of Paul Stamets. Ethanol Extraction isolates triterpenes, sterols, and lipids. These compounds provide immune modulation and antioxidant support. Hot Water Extraction pulls polysaccharides and other high molecular weight compounds. Recommended dose 20 drops twice a day under the tongue.
